Hi, I’m Bavleen — the voice behind Bavlyfe.

I moved to Canada as an international student, carrying big dreams, quiet fears, and the pressure to make it all work. Along the way, I learned that building a life in a new country isn’t just about degrees, jobs, or permanent status — it’s about identity, growth, and learning to feel at home within yourself.

Through Bavlyfe, I share honest stories, practical guidance, and lessons I’ve learned about student life, careers, work culture, and everyday living in Canada. This space is for immigrants and international students who are navigating change, ambition, and the in-between moments no one talks about.

My favorite quote: ‘Pray for the best, prepare for the worst’. I don’t know who wrote it, but I heard and learned this from my mother. She always taught me to pray and hope that the best things would happen, but even if there was to be a downfall, you should be prepared to take upon anything coming your way. And I live by that.
